Storybook Theatre
Sunshine Theatre’s very
popular Storybook Theatre program offers interactive storytelling and
games for preschoolers and young primary school students. The program
encourages the joy and fun of reading, and is led by professional actor
and theatre instructor Susan Snowdon*.
Storybook Theatre is ideal
for preschool or kindergarten classes, and parents are always welcome.

Susan has been the Sunshine Theatre School Coordinator and Instructor
for more than 5 years. Prior to that, Susan lived in Vancouver for 19
years where she worked professionally as an actress and taught theatre
classes. She has taught all levels of classes for children, teen and
adults. Susan has taught for the Globe Theatre in Regina, Carousel
Theatre, Arts Umbrella, Burnaby Arts Centre, Drama Works, and York House
Private School in Vancouver. Her training was at the University of
Calgary where she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree with
distinction and the dept. of drama gold medal. She was then chosen to be
part of the prestigious intern program at Alberta theatre Projects.
Sunshine Theatre classes are now being offered
through the Rotary
Centre for the Arts.
